Re: Trump
Apparently polymarket is taking bets on when a nuclear strike will happen.
Which seems bad and I wish the guillotine for everyone taking part in that.
That’s nothing. Loads of bets went in on the timing of the first strike, with the timing of the bets strongly suggesting insider knowledge ...

Re: Parents car you hated most as a kid
When my dad passed away in 1997 my mam swapped the g reg Honda accord 2.0l for a 1.1l Peugeot 106 that had a whole 50hp. I remember her dropping me off at a scout camp in it, going up Sutton bank (1 in 4 gradient) and it topping out at about 25mph. That thing was shite. Her then job as a home carer ...

Re: Car Hire Lottery
As mentioned in the fleet thread I’ve been given a Ford Puma hire car while they decide what to do with the focus.
I have no idea if whoever signed off on the interior has ever driven a car on the road or if they even understand road safety. It falls in with this thing modern car designers seem to ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Ouch, hope you're OK. Is that your work vehicle? Being without that will be a pain I'm sure; if it impacts your ability to work make sure you put in a claim for lost earnings.
Thankfully I work for a company so I have a van that lives there.
Thanks for the concern guys, I’m genuinely fine ...

On the way home from my Mams a car pulled out of a side road obscured by a Morrisons delivery van, couldn’t avoid them and this is the result. Other than the obvious cosmetic stuff the wheel is pushed right back in the arch, and check out the bleb in that tyre  So it’s parked ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I have washed the car. Obviously it's still raining so it still looks a bit wet and sad, it just doesn't have a layer of traffic film from being parked on the road.

This critical update is ...

I replied to that article, saying they’ve failed to put in the two reasons headlights have become so stupid- the effect of appallingly shit led streetlighting that’s barely fit for purpose and also all the massive touchscreens glowing brighter than an old 100w incandescent bulb, that prevents your ...
