Yeah, Scotland’s first game was a bit of a dud but a win’s a win and I’ve been enjoying seeing the fans shenanigans in Boston

Cape Verde put up a hell of a performance against Spain.

I found the first half a bit concerning, I didn't think we looked great against Croatia. Tuchel must have has a shout at half time, as in the second half we felt like a completely different team, thought we looked dangerous. Could have been 5 or 6 goals if it wasn't for Livakovic.

Struggled to get into this World Cup so far, but think last night helped spark my interest again.

England’s defence was a bit ropey but everyone’s been crying out for this sort of positive attacking football for years so good to see.

Stones shouldn’t started and O’Reily needs to improve.

Bellingham was better immense.

As an Arsenal fan, I have to ask - “Everyone suddenly OK with set piece goals now yeah??

Thought the first half was dross. Unbelievably the pundits were saying at halftime it’s the match of the tournament so far…

Didn’t bother watching the second half and went to bed. I’ve had two meetings already this morning and people were saying the second half was a lot better FFS

Not a football fan at all but I really enjoyed that game, particularly the second half. Nice to see some attacking flair for once.

This is the first full match i’ve watched of the tournament - only had time for the highlights before. What’s the deal with hydration stops?! I’m presuming they’re for the yanks to put adverts on?

Then why have they chosen to put the women’s coach pundit in a set that resembles a kitchen?!

Yes the kitchen was absolutely bizarre wasn't it

I enjoyed that much more than normal overall though - was a great second half.

I think it's just part of the overall ITV set isn't it? Assume it was the only place they could hang the black board as it looked to be a open plan rooftop. It's definitely insightful and I'd rather that than the adverts the American's are getting.

I suggest you don't go on Twitter and see the idiots views on her and her set.

I must admit, I don't really liker he as a person but you can't say she doesn't know what's she's talking about. Far more knowledgeable and insightful than some of the gormless idiot pundits that are on this world cup ( Cough..Giroud...cougn...)

I've zero interest in football, and even less knowledge, so won't be watching, but I did see a snippet from the Paraguay/USA game where the diver received a yellow card for his efforts.

Given that it was blatant cheating - why wasn't it a red card?

The scottish fans found an off license called Jobi Liquor.

Unsurprisingly it's been very popular.

Been catching odd bits of games and watch pretty much all the highlights on iplayer every morning, but I think last night was pretty much the first full match I've watched. Decent game, sloppy first half, much better second half. Definitely something we can build on.

I spent last weekend wondering how many true scotsmen accidentally exposed themselves in a playpark trying out the “cop slide”

This world cup seems to be much more low key than usual. Very few flags to be seen and none of the plastic tat that we've seen on cars in the past, pubs don't seem to be as enthusiastic about it either

I'm not a follower of football but I remember it being everywhere for past world cups

Unfortunately our flag has been hijacked by reform cunts these days.

Seems that way to me too. I think I've seen less England flags since the WC started than a month or two ago! Maybe all the racists don't want to put flags out now because it might look like they're supporting an ethnically diverse team!

It's a good thing though, let's keep it low key and celebrate if we actually achieve something is my thinking. :)

You know that’s not why we’re not seeing as many George’s Crosses
