Behold the excitement:
MOT passed, flying.
Fitted a new rear number plate.
Also managed 74mpg average on a journey.
The latter was me being bored doing yet another run down the m54 and seeing how much of a difference slipstreaming a large lorry made. Better than my usual mid 60's.

Re: SOS buttons
When I worked at Volvo, it sent out the gps to the manufacturer, who could then send it on to emergency services. Mercs are like this. All Europe calls go to a centre in Maastricht They contact you first to see what’s happening and contact 999 if you don’t respond. They do the same in the event of ...

Re: For the FTAO of Sim racing folk
Just seen this, and skipped to the end - he made well into 5 figures, by the looks of it. He was on about £8k running upto the end then had a massive glut of people donating $100-$200 and loads of £10-£50 as well. I thought it was for charity, which was fair enough....but then he just said "tha...

Re: Speed Limiters - July '24
Won't this massively hit new car sales? Especially in the performance sector? No. Customer walks into Ferrari showroom. "Hello I'd like to buy a Ferarri. Does it have a speed limiter ?" "Yes" "Oh, that's a shame, I'll go and buy a Dacia instead, there's no point in buying a...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I'm currently eyeing up a couple of Giulia's which can be easily stolen via a front port. It's been known about forever, and Alfa have done nothing - insurance policies for them are really high because of how easy they are to steal. Some random bloke on the internet has fixed it for a few hundred qu...

Re: For the FTAO of Sim racing folk
Saying that, I havent once played it on the tv with a controller. That's part of the problem - playing on the TV feels like going back in time and is just never the same, but the hassle of setting everything up with the wheel and headset can also be offputting, as I feel like by the time I've set i...

Re: Test drive report
Nice I watched the Throttle House review of the new MX5 only a few weeks back, they were positive about it.
I actually forgot to bounce this to ask if you'd considered a GR86 (although it's a bit late now!)....similar to the MX5.

Re: Fury vs Usyk
Shame that Usyk wasn’t able to definitively put him down. Guys a predator* - have you seen his eyes? He's definately got the look that killing you wouldn't even phase him. Bit like Tyson. Like Gav I don't follow Boxing, but Fury never looks professional and always seems to disrespect the sport IMO....

Oof 8-) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202403237895944 It is .1 betterer than your old one! I know :( mik unfortunately for the new owner, about 18 months after I sold it the oil pump failed and the engine seized. He couldn't afford to rebuild the 3.7 so he had to put a 3.2 back in. Kick i...

Re: Your fleet running reports
It's only just occurred to me - belm - is there a decent RR forum ? Classifieds there might be a good place to look. Never used it, but it’s a sister forum to the Disco3/4 which I did use and it was very good informative with people happy to take the time to explain shizzle. https://www.fullfatrr.c...
