Oof! Valkyrie content...
Re: Oof! Valkyrie content...
No, this is IMPORTANT and it needs to be DISCUSSED.

The problem with broad generalisations is that they are all comolete and utter shite.Mito Man wrote: Fri Dec 14, 2018 11:32 am And if we’re going to stupid extremes the average F1 service costs £40,000 a year with a £100,000 fuel tank every 5 years so I don’t think someone who can afford a Valkyrie will give a crap if it needs a rebuild which will cost a few hundred grand after 5 years.
Re: Oof! Valkyrie content...
Seeing as I don’t own one or know someone who owns one I can only go off what I’ve read from owners on the internet.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Oof! Valkyrie content...
You've polled the opinions of several Valkyrie owners?
Re: Oof! Valkyrie content...

Just because peak is at 7k doesn't mean it's only going to have 5lb/ft until 6950rpm

Re: Oof! Valkyrie content...
Remember the fuss about the Veyron and it needing tyres and wheels every so often, an engine rebuild at 30k, 60k doesn’t really seem that big a deal anymore does it?
Re: Oof! Valkyrie content...
It does not. This thread has an unusually high level of retardation.

Mechanically a test bed will be far more torturous than any road or track miles.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they would easily do double that mileage.
That is a gem of engineering, there is a lot of life and development left in the IC engine yet.
