The DSLR thread
Re: The DSLR thread
I'd like a better body (I've a 700D) but I just can't justify the costs vs the use.
At this stage, I'd probably just bite the bullet and for for the R5 or R6. You don't lose F Stops so my few EF lens would still work. I'd need a new general purpose zoom though. (That's EF-S)

Oh and Just in case my other half reads this, can No One please mention the fact that EF-S lens can also work with an adaptor.
I need to justify the RF 28-70 F2 l...

Re: The DSLR thread
So I bought a used Canon 7D MkII last week, and went out to Lakenheath Fen yesterday in some shitty weather to see what I could capture.

Re: The DSLR thread
That's a great picture.
Please stop, it is making me want to buy a new DSLR that I absolutely do not need.
I've still got the Olympus E-510, and while it is getting on for years, it is good enough for the once a year or so I decide to use it.
Edit: just looked up 7D mark IIs and listings mention percentage shutter wear, and number of clicks... I suddenly feel very out of my depth, didn't know that was something that needed tracking!

Nope. I have another image with the sign a bit more centered, but this is slightly sharper.

Shutter count is a thing for sure. The 7DII is rated to 200,000 and I've seen some used ones for sale well on their way to that! Mine has 45k, and was £420 so I'm chuffed to bits with it.
