I used to live in a former station house (like, when I was four) and we had nothing as fancy as that - just big, long gates.

And tractors occasionally getting their tyre treads caught in the tracks and causing a shutdown of all rail north of Inverness for an afternoon

It was a pretty small shaft so I didn’t want to break it off.

Had my eldest help me, no-one died, drank water.

The thunderstorm when we woke up filled the pond to the brim and kept the ducks happy so was a nice surprise.

The responsible thing to do is to store those logs for eternity so the carbon remains locked up. Otherwise you’ll join that list with Pol Pot and Elon for killing people.

The responsible thing is to not chop down living trees tbh

The best way to keep your local environment cooler is to have tree coverage.

I always thought the way to make local environment cooler was to wear leather jackets and sunglasses and sit around smoking Marlboro lights

I thought it's to put AC units outside. Hopefully this doesn't put us into the next ice age.
