I was pondering this yesterday. I don't know either. Anything I ever buy on ebay (that isn't a buy-it-now) is won in the dying seconds of the auction.....
For Sale: The Beast

Re: For Sale: The Beast
All this focus on The Beast has forced me to go looking for footage of the Meteor Engined SD1. Channel "Hot Rod Gazette" did a few relatively recent feature vids on it.
Whilst it's undoubtedly as rough as a Badger's tadger, - it looks and sounds way better than Dodd's monstrosity. I expect the wheels are worth more than any other part though.
Seeing it on the move (including comedy driver and passenger seat locations, and look at the footwell encroachment) , I don't want this either. But I don't want it far less than I don't want the Beast.

Re: For Sale: The Beast
There’s a trade auction that I’ve bought a load of tat from, which has a rule where if any new bids are received in the last couple of minutes of an auction, it extends the closing time by a few minutes. It’s a good rule, as it’s more like a real auction, the bids can keep coming until everyone’s done.

@Gavster £103,801 - £222,500
@nuttinnew £222,501 - £999,999,999,999

So if it gets £1,000,000,000,000 or more we just give the money to charity..... fair enough.Gavster wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 3:38 pm Still there with 5 hous to go

I once bought about £160 worth of useless shit, things like cheap Bluetooth speakers and all sorts of rubbish then didn't bother to collect it from Derby
