Are you that stupid or just maligned and wilfully ignorant ?
The howmanyleft links (derived from official DVLA registration figures) show that in the UK there were well over twice as many X Types on the road than the XE.
I can't see what the issue is here. And don't rabbit on about how I had the temerity to incorrectly state 'they couldn't build them quick enough'.
Evidently, they were 2/3x more popular back then.
Just to be clear, are you comparing 8 years of x type production to 2/3 years of XE production in your figures?
Compare year 3 of UK XE registrations with year 3 of UK X Types registrations if it helps the imaginary point you are trying to prove.
X-Type new registrations 2001 - 2003: 45,379
XE new registrations 2015 - 2017: 34,449
Down 10,930 units (-24%)
BMW 3 series: 2001 - 2003: 188,898
BMW 3/4 series: 2015 - 2017: 169,523
Down 19,375 units (-10%)
