Re: Teh Spotted Thread

I should've taken photos for Nathan :D A client proudly showed me around his owned from new 2002 Rover 75 1.8T SE, 58k miles from new and immaculate with the fuel pump being the only non service item in 16 yrs. I wasn't aware they made a turbo'd k series, i always thought the 160 cars were VVC motors.

Don't hate the player Duncs, hate the game .

It's a time consuming and expensive burden on companies , most of which already store and use personal information responsibly.

I blame the Facebook 😀

Re: BBQs

My wife went shopping the other week and after asking her to get some corned beef she, as a vegetarian and not knowing the difference, came back saying she couldn't find it on the shelf but here's this instead - a tin of Spam. Turns out it's surprisingly edible when fried up and put in a wrap with ...

On the A30 to Newquay 2 TVR Griffith's, I haven't seen one in the flesh for years, it's hard to believe it's a 30yr old design.

And a 6 wheeled Mayra Rancho camper conversion 😀

Re: BBQs

2 Questions. Food cooked on gas BBQs don't taste like BBQ food do they? Or do the 'briquets' add flavour? Also, with the Weber Kettles, you can't lower and raise the grill? I thought that was important? 1. The charcoal adds flavour even to a sausage. 2. You can't raise or lower the grill with a Web...

Re: BBQs

Yes chimney starters are great and they're an Aldi special buy this week at £4.99. The Weber one is 3x that and they do the same job. The Weber briquettes are well worth the extra they burn hot and will last hours (3 hrs+) grilling. Actually, on the chimney thing, the bit I got wrong with them is t...

The premium kettle is all you need, I don't get what the newer master touch brings to the table. Lid on cooking for the win, my lidless BBQ owning mates are always amazed with the results :) Do you mean 'performer'? Can't see a premium kettle... It looks like the Premium has been superseded by the ...
