Yep, it’s cool though as I can hear all the ships at Dover blast their horns. The Facebook group is filled with interesting characters to say the least. I think I live in the most patriotic town in the country going off all the VE Day plans they have...
Reckon they'll let rockets off?

The level of self centred angry people is increasing.

I would imagine a responsible cat owner would keep their cat in on Thursday at 8pm. The wankers banging pans annoy me more.
You sure about that?

I hope so as there’s usually 20 posts complaining each time, or if you really want to annoy them light a bonfire.
Mostly it’s people putting up pictures of the cream tea they will eat tomorrow whilst watching Churchill’s speech and hanging a union flag *wipes tear*

No idea what happened to her but our rescue is terrified of fireworks. Goes from being barky house guarder to hide in cupboarder.

Other dog we’ve had from a pup doesn’t raise an eyelid - same as our now-departed yellow lab.

I believe you are incorrect, you are alluding to their more common applications, but technically the two words are interchangeable. ;)

Technically. Bit traditionally enquiry is the less formal and inquiry the more formal. I've never been called upon at a Public Enquiry but I have been called upon at a Public Inquiry ;)

Ours never did, probably wasn't a snowflake like the guy who paid the bills. Pots and pans tho they aren't too scary. I think I'm getting too old and cantankerous.

Pretty much no change announced for Wales today.

Garden centres can open with suitable measures. Some Council services to resume if safe and exercise close to home may be more than once a day.

To be reviewed again in 3 weeks.

Wonder why each smaller country feels the need to do their own thing and announce them early?

One-upmanship over Boris and to try and make themselves look good I'm afraid. A mixture of political posturing and vanity.
