We are officially not allowing WFH next week, despite it being entirely, and easily possible with the products we resell and the way our platform is set up.

Because the CEO would rather we all (and our families and children) get Corona than trust is to work from home - I mean, it's not really possible to infer anything else from that decision.
Don't worry mate. Pretty sure you can wank it out.

Off to do what I feel will be my last roller disco for a while. 3 Venues have cancelled (one was saturday night) and closed and I expect that many more will close next week.

All venues to close immediately, massive program of financial support just announced

Close as in as soon as practicable this evening. I’d contact your venue Carlos...

Woah at the financial support that has just been announced.

I do dread what the tax situation will be in a couple years time once we’re through all this
How about not having a sig at all?

Well. They certainly did what needed to be done.

I'm not sure any Chancellor in history has had a baptism of fire in the way Sunak has and he's rising to the challenge. Remember that this guy has been in the job a month. Incredible.

It’ll be a combination of austerity and inflation.

Be reyt. My uncle used to employ me for his landscape gardening business. Those lines were straight. Always other options.

Think Boris got the closest I've seen to losing his shit there when a reporter relayed on a comment of "dismay at a falsely placed sense of optimism of certain politicians" - thumping the lectern with anger.

What the fuck was he supposed to do - go around shouting "we're all going to die"? Imagine dealing with this shitshow, being responsible for shutting the country down and the biggest economic intervention in history and then having someone accuse you of not taking it seriously! Some people will complain about literally any decision that is taken or any comment that is made and frankly they need a good kick up the fucking arse.

There’s a couple of people in my family that are massive corbynites, literally anything Boris says will always be wrong, if he offered them £100,000 tax free for themselves they’d still complain about it, yet if Jeremy offered them £5 less tax it would be the best thing ever

Sorry if it's not clear. Don't see my customers buying anything soon. Lines are what makes a decent job cutting grass. Oh and edges.

I wish they'd stop dragging Corbyn out of hiding for soundbites on the news. I want to punch him every time I see his 'not good enough' opinion on everything.

Given I think Boris is a complete cunt, in general, I think he’s done OK this week, but Rishi Sunak has come across very well, imho.

They were loading the skates back into the vans when I got there. Fortunately this one was only 10mins from home so not much time or fuel wasted. Ah well we’ll be back again when stuff opens back up again.

Bbc now actually reporting on the drug clinical trials with positive notes for the Ebola and malaria drugs (which if that works it will be good and cheap as it has been around so long as it will be a generic) once an effective treatment is available they can let the younger and non immune compromised out as it won’t be such an issue.

Trying to stay a bit positive.

Italy have been testing the malaria drugs for quite a while but not heard anything conclusive yet. It’s pretty odd how so little is known about it despite all the scientists working on it and all the cases. Trump thinks it’s the cure which tells me all I need to know about it.
Didn’t the U.K. try hiv drugs and other anti viral things when we first had cases but again didn’t hear anything more about it.

👍🏻

I feel a little less anxious about the personal financial situation. Would I be feeling the same under a labour government- less likely #justsaying
