Honestly, I've never seen so many micras, corollas Dacias and even Peugeot 1007s one the roads at any one time all driven by grey haired wrinklies who can barely see over the steering wheel.

Its spooky you say that, I've come in to this remote office for a few hours again and had that exact same experience on the way here, loads of cars being driven noticeably slower than other traffic and its all OAPs.

We're going to try and do a wee leaflet drop in the village this weekend to offer help for anybody who may need it and hopefully this sort of thing is going on everywhere so people do feel like they have options other than putting themselves and others at risk (not just from their shitty driving).

Well a bit of a more positive day work wise. People have paid money, promised jobs but slightly delayed, ordered more expensive options provided.

I've been to the shops there's plenty of stuff.

I found the countryside was busier than ever last week in terms of people out and about in villages. Having a group of 10 neighbours chatting in the middle of the road with kids all petting each other’s dogs etc isn’t self isolating is it....

And yes, the roads whilst quieter were still moving slower than usual during the day due to all the old people going 1/3 of the speed limit. I was going to shout some expletives at one who kept stabbing the brakes from 40 to 20 till I pulled up along side and realised it’s a blind 100 year old woman.

London is particularly shit now since most of it is 20 - driving at night with 0 traffic apart from the odd Uber idiot who is now doing 15 to eek out the battery on their knackers hybrid shitbox. Painful.

I certainly believe they haven't helped, I don't think the reporting would be any more negative if this was a global outbreak of Ebola.

I made the mistake of checking the Daily Mail website earlier when I was on a call.... I know we're not living in China, but its amazing that the government don't step in at times like this to try and enforce sensible reporting to curb panic (buying).

Wife's apparently classed as a key worker (presumably as she works for a pharma). However, it's of feck all use really as she's the very highest risk category so no point sending the child into mix with germs for him to bring them back to the house.

Some c*nt started showing signs last weekend and decided to head into work for all of Monday. They’ve since been tested (part of the vulnerable group) and it’s come back positive. Slow hand clap for knowingly risking it and actually bringing it into an open office for the day. The other half sits a desk away from them too.

My wife is classed as a key worker now too. My stepdaughter won't be going to College though; with no exams this year (she did her GCSEs last year anyway) and very few other kids there, the schools and colleges are simply acting as creches.

My parents are mid-70's and it's hard to tell them. I've said I'd do their shopping and drive 1hr+ round trip to drop it off etc etc but they're used to being independent. They've no underlying health conditions luckily.

My neighbours do though and they're in their 80's. I'd hate to lose them. They're a lovely old couple but both with health problems. I'm sending them a text offering help whilst keeping my distance.

Apparently it's possible to have it with no symptoms so you're best just avoiding all of those at risk for the moment.

A colleague in my team has a cough and a temp of 38+ and he's just had a couple of heart ops for his pacemaker so we're looking out for him. Also we're telling him he can't expense a coffin through work.

200mile round trip today to collect a laptop dock, mouse and keyboard before all our offices are locked for the next few months.

WFH battlestation is nearly complete.
