It used to be all on the website but its £POA now. IIRC it was about a minimum of £350 + vat per panel excluding vat and all the materials.
What I find crazy is that a detail and PPF now costs a minimum of £10k in London whereas it was half of that 5 years ago. I guess it’s still relatively peanuts on something costing a few hundred grand but on your random M car or non GT 911 it’s a bit crazy, especially when it needs redoing every 5-7 years.

I believe this is what Topaz are charging for a "level 5" detail whatever the fvck that is and full PPF. There some chatter on PH about it from some bloke who says he's had 50 cars done by them. Good business by the looks of it.

As usual, a lot of them charge what they can get away with charging, and a lot like a lot of the high end boutique detailing products people like to think that as they're paying so much they're getting the very best.
Then after the expensive treatments most of them get treated like crap and the whole lot has to be repeated after a year or so

I’ve been looking at a full paint correction and ceramic coating, that’s coming out at about £1,300 for a proper job. £10k is staggering!

When I’ve done a new car detail one quick pass with a light polish is enough for 99% of it. As soon as you have something which has done a few thousand miles you really need a two stage job to do it properly and the cutting stage takes much longer than a quick pass to finish it. When cutting you really need to tape up much more of the car too, the pads are much harder so you end up having to use smaller ones to fit the curves of the car better. It’s a lot more work.

Took me 2 days on my 330 to wash, clay, 2 stage correction and wax. That's with a fraction of the gear, outside, and on a 60k+ mile 7yr old car that looked like it had never seen any polish before.
I can't see how it would take a pro, with all the gear, experience, enclosed space, working on a much younger less damaged car, over a week.
