Good job tho.

Hahaha, does it fuck.Mito Man wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 12:22 pm What I find crazy is that a detail and PPF now costs a minimum of £10k in London
I believe this is what Topaz are charging for a "level 5" detail whatever the fvck that is and full PPF. There some chatter on PH about it from some bloke who says he's had 50 cars done by them. Good business by the looks of it.
Likewise.
Ah yeah true, and that actually is the minimum level of service that can be obtained in London.tim wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 1:51 pmI believe this is what Topaz are charging for a "level 5" detail whatever the fvck that is and full PPF.
Not a huge fan of CCG for some reason, but WD is indeed very relaxing to watch. Got to admire their patience and dedication tbh.DaveE wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:42 pmI also like the Car Cleaning Guru one too.
I find them quite relaxing and enjoyable to watch. It's amazing the results some people can achieve....
See couture brands, it’s expensive therefore must be good!integrale_evo wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 5:27 pm As usual, a lot of them charge what they can get away with charging, and a lot like a lot of the high end boutique detailing products people like to think that as they're paying so much they're getting the very best.
Then after the expensive treatments most of them get treated like crap and the whole lot has to be repeated after a year or so![]()
Just paid £595 for a new protection detail and ceramic coating. So 1300 for correction included seems steepOrange Cola wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 10:09 pm I’ve been looking at a full paint correction and ceramic coating, that’s coming out at about £1,300 for a proper job. £10k is staggering!
Works out about the same when you consider that a full correction requires about 2-3 times more work than a new car prep...Swervin_Mervin wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 10:48 pmJust paid £595 for a new protection detail and ceramic coating. Yep, can take just over a week to do a proper job, 90% of it being in the preparation so the worse the paint is to start with the longer it’ll take.Mito Man wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 11:13 pmWorks out about the same when you consider that a full correction requires about 2-3 times more work than a new car prep...Swervin_Mervin wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 10:48 pmJust paid £595 for a new protection detail and ceramic coating.
