Caveat: I'm no @KiwiDave with the cameras and lenses. It is better than potatocam, but don't expect too much.

Called "Goblin" because green! Owner was there, just had the engine recommissioned/rebuilt for a small six-figure sum. Opined it was cheap as the engine rebuild cost of the Chiron he was thinking of replacing it with would be closer to 500k.

One for @Marv. They had two other E46 M3s in stock, "just" the normal manual ones, though.

This was all in a sea of more pedestrian supercars, your boggo F458s, F488s, 812s, Aventadors, etc. And along the back G-wagons, a high-spec new Defender, a Cullinan (eeew), and an RR Coupe.

Hidden away (somewhat visible in a couple of pics ) were a Clio V6, R34 and R35 GT-Rs, and a Carrera GT.

Guest cars were mostly modern-ish with the Countach as the outlier.
Update: when we were there the kids picked up an issue of Supercar Driver. It was left open and I thought I recognised the person in the picture! It is none other than @David_Yu talking about his love of cars, especially Ferraris.

I didn't know David even registered on here - looking back he posted here and there for about 2 months about all kinds of things, then just left and never posted again

I was a bit surprised to find his login. You never know, he might be enticed back by the mention.

It’s AI edited, you see the shadow/footprint of the real car clearly as it drives past the camera.
Actually, it’s visible in the thumbnail too.
How about not having a sig at all?

Electric Honda Prelude - no pic but the same colour combo as this library pic...

As more and more electric cars seem to be trending towards the boxy and sharp lined, I though it was quite a nice looking thing.

I've no idea about the tech or the performance ete. but it's a looker

I've seen a Prelude and thought it looked great. Not particularly fast and a bizarre powertrain means I can't see them selling well but hey, big up to Honda for making it. The CR-Z still looks cool and up to date even 16 years from its introduction and 10 years from the end of production other than the big headlights which give away its era.

The new shape Prius is good looking and dramatic like the Prelude but much more practical and I think possibly faster; it'll be everywhere soon though so won't retain that visual drama due to over-familiarity.

I only took three photos at Cars on Toast last night so not much to share, but good to see @MikeHunt for a good natter and interesting to go to a local car event. I'm not sure how it makes any money; we had a couple of 0% beers each and entry was about £6 and that was it. If you're wandering around looking at cars there isn't the opportunity for selling.

Anyway, limited photos below but the more interesting things were:
- Purple Hellcat, my favourite car there.
- A few purple cars including the VX220 below, mine and Gavin's BMWs, a Lupo, the Hellcat and I'm sure there were some more. On fleek.
- I think there were 6 Porsche Boxster Spyders in total - at least 3 of which were Spyder RSs. Common as muck. Nice though; the 981 Spyder is better looking because it's far less fussy than the 718 and particularly the RS, but I'd not want to live with that roof. Maybe they were all out for the last decent evening of the year
- A Ferrari 12Cilindri turned up at the end in silver. Overall I love the shape. But the alloys look like they're from a Kia EV and the rear wheels look smaller than the fronts - an optical illusion I'm sure but isn't the purpose of styling to pull off such illusions in a way which makes the car look better not worse? The Daytona-esque front strip looks fab in the flesh to me anyway, and the bonnet line seems amazingly low for a modern car. Dramatic.
- A couple of really nice condition 205 GTI 1.9s.
- An electric Hummer. Mad to see that in the UK but fair play to the mentalist who owns it.

I'm sure Gavin can remember some more. Oh, and when we were talking about that A110 and how it compares to an MX5, it turns out both got 5 stars in Autocar road tests and both got 2nd place on ECOTY so there's nothing to separate them in the reviews

Good chatting with you Simon, agree that a midlanders curry meet is well overdue.

From memory there were Porsches out in force; quite a few green GT4s and a few 930s, plus a V12 Vantage I’m not 100% sure, but I think it may have been the new 2026 model. There was also a lovely late 80s Brabus S-Class.

How could I forget that Brabus W126. I still don't know what engine it was; a 6-cyl when the more powerful W126s from Merc always had V8s so was it a 280SE or 300SE which had had an engine transplant from a Brabus W124 or something?

The engine didn't look like the 3.6 in this 190E:
