Very nice colour Matty! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it… (and if not, time Dan had a new Project - full carbon body and titanium everything else yeah!?)
Cheers,

That looks brilliant !

Was a spec like that just out of the standard options list or did Lotus just do whatever you asked at the time ?

Like Jobbo, I was epecting the primer grey like Nardo grey, but that looks sensational. You see an Evora so rarely but they always look brilliant and sound amazing.

From a Porsche Forum to BMW M cars seems to be shifting towards Lotus a bit more now.

Do you have a copy of Evo iss339 btw? Ping me if you want mine (it’s not immaculate)

What have you been doing to it Mik? :?

Matty, can completely understand why you waited for that spec, colour, stripes, interior, all awesome 8-)

He's picking up a Vantage next week...that apparently doesn't fit in his garage but didn't realise until after purchase  interesting conversations as he's also had a 4C and QV so lots to discuss there, plus various Elise, Exiges and so on. Genuinely an incredibly nice bloke.

House was stunning. Don't know how much his place was, but mentioned his next door neighbours house was £6m so...

I do! At least...somewhere. I ditched all my EVO mags, but kept the ones with cars I owned, planned or otherwise. Thanks though 8-)

Largely specced that way. Many of the options were "no cost" (I believe )but this has most options picked - Air Con, ultra lightweight wheels, cruise, 4 speaker audio inc reverse, sound insulation. Also has "Signature Paint"

It did have the lithium battery, but it was removed as he said it was nothing but trouble. He even bought the lithium battery conditioner, but still had issues where it failed to start, so replaced it with standard and it's been fine since.

I think the only thing it doesn't have is the Titanium Exhaust.

I'm not sure Lotus are as flexible with options as they used to be back in the old days. I did hear stories of them basically doing whatever you wanted back in the Elise days, but seemed less so recently. Happy to be corrected for those brave enough to have bought a Lotus product from new.

Like the new shape vantage but not sure I’d pick one over that. Imagine value of your lotus can only go up, whereas a vantage will only go the other way

Very south of Nottingham, in the country bits. I reckon his house was in the £1m range, next doors was .... significantly bigger.

He really needs to spend less on the house and more on the garage if a Vantage won’t fit in it 😂

Reversing camera...pretty much essential when the rear view through the mirror is basically this

Yeah, it was a largish house, reasonable size frontage, with a single standalone garage built just off to the right, almost on the driveway itself. Not much room to extend it really, I suspect he's the type of person who would have!

That's a reasonable feature to want the car to have!

You can actually vaguely make out something behind, that's pretty good!

I know it's less popular these days, but.... if you really wanted to you could always do an e-start vid, for - y'know - old school reasons. :geek:

I was thinking I must do an E-start vid in my M5. But wouldn't you want it with the engine running too?

Don’t make me re-post the cold start vid I did on Mrs Mik’s e-tron.
