Your fleet running reports
Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeah. What’s the number plate saying?
Re: Your fleet running reports
It was well worth the outlay for the original owner then
I'm considering putting my own plate on that means absolutely nothing

Is the plate meant to say two tracks?

The rear tyres on carterhams are the old style Michelin TRX metric sizes - obviously.

Re: Your fleet running reports
yeah, i still presume it’s meant to say Elise K, but i’m not 100%. The one thing i dread is that anyone assumes the SEK bit is a crap alternative to SEX.
Its thankfully obscure enough (and not crappy spaced) for me to ignore it and not have to change it!
Re: Your fleet running reports
Picked up a Ctek charger now the 911 is sat in the garage. First use is actually the RR as we're off on holiday shortly and it seems to have a concerningly low SOC.
I didn't realise that 12.6v is effectively "fully charged", 12.4 is 75% charged, 12.2 is 50% empty and 12.0 will struggle to crank. My tracker was saying the RR was on 12 (but seemingly no issue starting and no "low battery" warning which you do get from time to time).

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yes I think it does - perhaps the tracker is looking at the auxiliary battery SOC but I was under the impression they would be on a single circuit / have a common voltage but maybe not.
ETA - apparently it may not but might have a battery management capacitor which stores charge and stops drops in voltage when the start stop kicks in.
Re: Your fleet running reports
No - I'd heard that 12.2V is 50% full.GG. wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 2:12 pm
