The roof on the Boxster RS is a massive PITA. One of the guys I know in TIPEC had one and he hated it. 981 generation is where you need to be for that kind of money. It's just all round better.

yeah, they’re usually £8-10k more.

There was a Jayemm video about the 190 (elise) that i was referred to during my search which did put me off the 190 engine.

There was a Jayemm video about the 190 (elise) that i was referred to during my search which did put me off the 190 engine.

A 190 Elise isn't any faster than a decent spec S1 in a straight line. I had a few laps with a 111R round KNOCKHILL. There was nothing in it. The difference being they have to be revved to get it on cam. the S1 had more torque lower down.
