Question is, how many people will pay £150k for a Lotus compared to the competition? Because that's what it's likely to be, given the Emira is £100k now.

Interesting. Will be good to see (although given how much the competition charges for the power levels that are being mentioned, I think even £150k may be optimistic. :?: Noble ask £150k for their non-hybrid 550bhp M500, which doesn't even have ABS.....

Flat-plane V8 probably more desirable/appropriate in the supercar market, but cross-plane would have been a great aural differentiator from McLaren/Ferrari. I realise I may be in the minority on that point.

edit: top marks for going with Tippex though :geek:

Which is exactly 1000PS funnily enough - so just a guess then.

AMG V8, given the recent links I wonder?

The £150k was a guess, based on previous rumours they were making a V8 Emira and wondered if those I'll just end up being a reskinned version with a bigger engine.

Gotta wonder where the market will be if you start coming in well over £200k though. At that point, you're swimming with the big boys, and cars with wobbly trim and bubbly doors won't cut it.

Cant we get an Alpine A110 competitor instead?
