Harry’s Garage
Re: Harry’s Garage
I am going to have to watch this - after having lunch a week or two ago with someone who has bought one, it’ll hopefully be complimentary and keep his investment solid.
Re: Harry’s Garage
Sisters friend owns a Challenge Stradale - with the stripes, as is correct, and I've seen it a few times around Telford - but she always tells me *after* they've been to visit. "Oh, <name> stopped by today in the Ferrari, the once with the stripes"
I think she thinks I'll be overly nerdy and weird and does it on purpose.
Mega valued now though. Are they 6x better than a standard 360?

Re: Harry’s Garage
Harry seems to like it alot!
~£450k now though, blimey. When I had a very brief encounter with one many years ago in the Austrian Alps on a fairly straight road, it didn't pull away from me in my M3 CSL. At the time, I wonder why it didn't pull away... I guess as they seem to be closer to my M3 in weight (despite 'rari saying 1280kg) and the give and take level playing field of the driving quickly on the road.
Special car though, and they sound even better irl

Oui, je suis un motard.
Re: Harry’s Garage
Didn’t think they’re worth that much, there’s one parked at my flat and it’s always in an unloved state.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Harry’s Garage
Final bits where he was squeezing it a bit were the best.
I’ve always admired the CS without really desiring one. And nothing has changed - you’d have to REALLY want one to pay £450k!
“This one’s actually for sale - my son is selling it through Metcalffe Cars”…. less exciting. Is Harry’s channel just going to become an elaborate showroom for his boy?

Re: Harry’s Garage
How many owners of cars like these really want one, or are just buying it because they're rare/collectable and potentially increase in value?mik wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 10:28 pm

I still dislike the fact that we live in the post-covid era where unusual cars have become garage ornament investment peices for so many people rather than a toy. Remember when you could get loads of unusual stuff like RS2s, Clio V6's, 964s and so on for reasonable money?
And when did cars become recession proof? We're in a cost of living crisis, borderline recession, petrol is throught the roof, and yet the car market continues to be incredibly boyant and the toy car market is seemingly really strong. Aren't cars the first thing you ditch when money is tight?
Re: Harry’s Garage
I am told blue without stripes is the most valuable due to rarity - red with stripes is way more common.Mito Man wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 10:05 pm Didn’t think they’re worth that much, there’s one parked at my flat and it’s always in an unloved state.

There was a blue one without stripes and something like 870 miles on it that sold for £650k recently.
ETA: may have been £600k.
