Yep, been back over a year now. The girls stayed in Aus with Bec - it wouldn't have been fair to bring them as I had no idea where I was going to be living and the locals may have taken the mick out of their accents.
I miss them terribly but still get regular updates, it's all good

I was lubed and rogered by the Tokyo Lego airport shop... Significantly cheaper than back home, I came back with the Schmuacher F1 car, Rexy the GT3 and the Technic Ford GT40. (And a free gift-with-purchase picture frame thing.)

The Schumacher F1 car is a nice build, quickest I’ve ever built one. Disappointing that they are still making the wheels same size front and back.

Why did they do that, when the Mansell car had the wider wheels?!

Middle one has that one too. He enjoyed building it, and it is one of a few sets that survive intact beyond the first two weeks.

I love that set - Technic is so full of vehicles these days that it needs stuff like that to show how versatile it is for building.

That being said I’ve not got round to buying it and I do have quite a few Technic vehicles waiting to be built…

You're right though, I thought it was very creative design, it's a shame they don't do more non-vehicle Technic. You'd think the options are practically endless, but I guess vehicles are where the money is.
