The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

Nope, they headed off west following the Thames.

Couple of interesting ones yesterday.

About 14:00, a "Privately Owned" Spitfire flew over - how cool would it be to own and fly your own spitfire...

Then around 16:00, a Chinook flew over - really, really low - lowest I've seen - which was cool. I've mentioned before but one of the senior pilots from the RAF is from our town so I guess he's buzzing his house to say hello to his kids...

This was near that. I wonder what altitude they reached?

Warning : definite deaths. RIP.

Footage of a light aircraft crash yesterday in Venezuela (apparently). Looks like one wing stalls almost immediately after rotation (?). :?

No flaps out by the looks of it, so not enough lift at that speed without them. Wing stalls as soon as the plane moves out of ground effect range

Very clear analysis now available for the UPS freighter crash. Crew didn't really have a chance. :?

(Aside as it's not a cause, but although everyone knows it was 34 years old, that plane had spent a total of more than 11 years actually in the air).

3D radar. Have a play with the settings but you need a pretty decent computer for it to work nicely. Doesn't really work on my phone.
How about not having a sig at all?
