@Ascender tyre storage option 😉
:lol:

I can only imagine the cost!

Have you looked at winters for the Touring yet? I must do something about it soon before we end up with winters being hard to get.

Mike.

Direct from Michelin the Pilot Alpin 5 are available and fit, blackcircles doesn’t have the fronts available already.. debating whether I want to put my summers on new bronze wheels and winters on my current silvers or vv.

Wow, I thought Z1's were like £15-20k!

Much respect for the chap who leaves a minty looking one on the main rd of a roughish part of Swansea.

From my ownership experience nearly 30 years ago the first thing they should do is up-rate the front engine mount. It has a tendency to rip itself out the subframe.

ScottA and I have discussed several times that one of these would make an interesting track toy.

You’re never going to be the fastest car on track, but 200bhp in a tweaked MX5 should be plenty quick enough to be entertaining, whilst being easy on all the consumables.

For the benefit of Jon and Chris, I've met a few tall people at MX5 Owners Club meetings who have a mk3 because that is the one they fit in. Just saying...
