Nice - they’ve always done ok by me - haven’t really used mine much in the last year ……but jumped in and did the 300 mile round trip in it no problem at all … with the odd bit of cavorting to enjoy it

And Nic!
Still loiter, rarely post but was prompted by seeing my friends car, Fast Ford world is a small place.

Current fleet is
2021 etron sportback (not the GT)
2018 Q7 (wifes car)
2018 991.2 GTS
97 w124 convertible
Still have the Golf but it’s been up for sale and a couple of motorbikes.

Bought it a few years ago as a non runner and then fully restored it. It took 3 other cars to die for body cuts to save this one but it was worth it. It’s a 320 with 5 speed auto, cruise, aircon, heated electric memory seats, twin airbags, both sportline packs and genuine AMG aero 3 split rims and bodykit. I’ve made a couple of modifications but nothing that cant be reversed. Late car registered in 1997, took about 2 and half years to complete but still need to do the interior.

I’ve no idea how to upload a picture here sorry.

I think you've mentioned it before? Sounds like a fantastic car.

As for pictures you can either link from [photo sharing site of your choice] or create a profile on the OV9 Gallery and then link across.

W124s are favourites of mine.

New OEM style clutch in the Mustang today. Holy moly what a difference!

It previously had an uprated 'Spec' clutch and it was fucking awful. I got used to it, sort of, but it was unbelievably stiff and had no bite range, just on or off.

New one has transformed how it drives completely. SO happy with it.

Another necessary change, the rear lights. It previously had EU style ones (clear middle section) and I couldn't stand them either, so they've been binned off and replaced with the proper USA style ones. Took a lot of fiddling with the electrics, though, but we got there. Much better :D

And looking good after it's recent paint work. Not a perfect job, but much better than how it was before - very tatty.
