No, there were two generations of XKR-S. 4.2L (which, further reading tells me was SVO built and capped to 200 units) and the 5.0L which came around in 2011/12 (uncapped production).

But the original was, according to Wikipedia, a 2009 model car made in 2008 and had different front bumper and alloys to that one. Being a 2007 I assume it's just an early normal XKR with the front bumper and alloys changed. And possibly bonnet.

All I can say is that the owner had a laminated bit of A4 in the windscreen proclaiming it thus. I would imagine the Jag owners club would police this aggressively.

That said, I don't think the vents at the top of the front bumper were there on the early XKR-S.
