Re: Current Wants
It wasn't you, Chris, it was 15k when I looked at your link. He's adjusted the price. The cynic in me, so to speak, would suggest the advertiser did it on purpose to draw attention.

What colour did you get?Wilspeed wrote: Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:35 am I've been looking at 308s recently. Somehow they were never really on my radar, but the want has become quite strong now. Must not be red, though, I fear I couldn't pull that off. Silver or light blue for me please.
Cheers, Harry

Sounds lovely - red seats really set them off nicely...Wilspeed wrote: Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:25 pmSilver/red. Sounds like OCD in need of a major project.Rich B wrote: Mon Sep 10, 2018 3:20 pmmaybe he’s more interested in the driving experience of the scud rather than the kudos of owning a real scud?SSO wrote: Mon Sep 10, 2018 3:10 pmI am sure it is interesting but not sure why you would do that. You end up with a car that is no longer a F430 (which are really good) and its not really a Scuderia.V8Granite wrote: Mon Sep 10, 2018 2:30 pm
MWStewart has a F430 thread running in Readers Cars on Pistonheads where he is making a Scud + from a standard F430 and has all the information on the cars you can get, is a great read.
Dave!
Though from other threads of his I’ve seen, he has major OCD about every single component and upgrading every bit and bolt to be the best OEM bit available. He’s done a golf and an M3 tooo.
He can get 50% of the Scud experience just by buying a decent 430 with CCBs and paying someone to wack him in the back of the head every time he changes gears.....
