Cold starts are usually pretty successful, but not 100% mastered the choke / throttle combination for every starting condition!

An old cold start video of the 928 (before I had it quietened a bit).
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Re: The Cold Start Thread.
The centre box is starting to rust / split. Looks like someone has stuck a jack under it at some point.
The centre section includes the downpipes and both cats, I imagine it’s horrendously expensive. Going to cut the box out for an x-pipe and some tube. Hopefully it won’t be too silly….
Cheers, Harry

BMW does sound good
I'd say it was about right as it is.
Andy is that soot all over the rear bumper or just a shadow
Also needed a warning for the jump scare at the end

@integrale_evo and @Delphi thanks for the reminder that I need another V8 at some point.

It was probably soot. It had been running very rich due to a failed Temp2 sensor. I'd just fixed it but not cleaned the car at that point.

My Honda Motorcycle engines do this, it is quite pleasing. Probably because each cylinder is just under 250ccdan wrote: Mon Aug 26, 2024 1:01 pm I love the way the super lightweight internals make the engine stop the instant you hit the kill switch![]()
