Get the sleeper train to Germany then hire a hatchback locally for a few days while you're there.

I never noticed how much they look like Mazdas from directly in front and behind.Sundayjumper wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 4:16 pmThat actually looks perfect. It's even got the comfort seats that I want. Whenever someone says “Mazda”, my brain goes to Men Behaving Badly and Tony saying “you, Mazda” with the hand action.

Is there a way to check the age of an ad, and price history ? The description says "full 12 months MOT" but the MOT was done on 22 April, so the ad is at least two months old ? Curious if the price has been slowly dropping. On the face of it it looks quite reasonable.Sundayjumper wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 4:16 pmThat actually looks perfect. I feel the "Friday night and a bottle of wine" solution might be needed here

I think there's a Chrome plugin for that - I don't have it but you can order by age of the advert and it's about half way through 5GTs (page 5 of 11 starting with the newest).Sundayjumper wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 4:55 pmIs there a way to check the age of an ad, and price history ? It's in the URL, at least that's what I've believed for years.

How about not having a sig at all?

Yep. It’s called “AT Price Tracker”Jobbo wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 5:21 pmI think there's a Chrome plugin for that - I don't have it but you can order by age of the advert and it's about half way through 5GTs (page 5 of 11 starting with the newest).Sundayjumper wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 4:55 pmIs there a way to check the age of an ad, and price history ? I know that you said no to the XJ, but an XFR without a sunroof has excellent seats and decent headroom. The best long distance car I've ever owned -

Re: Your fleet running reports
My XF is very comfy long distance and has the same seats and interior as the R.
I have a lot of headroom but I'm only 6'1, my friend is 6'3 and he fits in with lots of room to spare, not a lot of room in the back for legs however.
I can make the seat go back far enough so I can't touch the pedals though
One the same spec as mine would be a lot more economical on a run, and will still pass the alleged speed limiter at 155, which certainly doesn't seem to exist!
I'd probably buy this though, just because, why not?

I was thinking of these the other day when W8s and ZT260s were deing discussed...then I got distracted reading about the engine, and wondering what else you could fit it in...V8 C30?

SJ, will you have any ULEZ type things to contend with?
