Get the sleeper train to Germany then hire a hatchback locally for a few days while you're there.

That actually looks perfect. It's even got the comfort seats that I want. Oooh.

Cheapest 6 series GC on sale. Would be good for a YouTube video ;)
Apart from the tints and being dirty, it doesn't look too horrible?
I do like the 6GC. Shortlist.

I never noticed how much they look like Mazdas from directly in front and behind.

Whenever someone says “Mazda”, my brain goes to Men Behaving Badly and Tony saying “you, Mazda” with the hand action.

Is there a way to check the age of an ad, and price history ? The description says "full 12 months MOT" but the MOT was done on 22 April, so the ad is at least two months old ? Curious if the price has been slowly dropping. On the face of it it looks quite reasonable.

I feel the "Friday night and a bottle of wine" solution might be needed here

A 6GC looks like the perfect car for a trip like this

I think there's a Chrome plugin for that - I don't have it but you can order by age of the advert and it's about half way through 5GTs (page 5 of 11 starting with the newest).

It's in the URL, at least that's what I've believed for years.

Yep. It’s called “AT Price Tracker”

I know that you said no to the XJ, but an XFR without a sunroof has excellent seats and decent headroom. The best long distance car I've ever owned -

My XF is very comfy long distance and has the same seats and interior as the R.

I have a lot of headroom but I'm only 6'1, my friend is 6'3 and he fits in with lots of room to spare, not a lot of room in the back for legs however.

I can make the seat go back far enough so I can't touch the pedals though

One the same spec as mine would be a lot more economical on a run, and will still pass the alleged speed limiter at 155, which certainly doesn't seem to exist!

I'd probably buy this though, just because, why not?

I was thinking of these the other day when W8s and ZT260s were deing discussed...then I got distracted reading about the engine, and wondering what else you could fit it in...V8 C30? :P Excellent spot 8-)

SJ, will you have any ULEZ type things to contend with?
