You'd need to nip it aff and flush every 90 secs or so to stop the toilet being blocked imo.

Re: Ftaof jamcg
@ZedLeg if it’s just the button you should be able to just replace that without touching the internals- there should be something to push in and the button should release. As it looks like an old fluid master cistern valve it should in theory be compatible as long as they haven’t changed anything
Re: Ftaof jamcg
Yeah, I kind of thought that but I had a look and couldn't see a release. I'll have another look after I pick up the new one.

Re: Ftaof jamcg
Ah yeah, I think whatever broke on the old one jammed the release so I couldn’t get the rest of the button out.
Just replaced the whole valve body.
So 45 mins out of my morning to pick it up and £13 to fix it before the £200 handyman was even able to turn up.
I hadn’t been on my bike all winter though and the 5 mile round trip nearly killed me

We've got that Siamp stuff, I've had to repair in both bathrooms in some form of other. Not a fan.
Re: Ftaof jamcg
Unfortunately nothing is as reliable as a good old fashioned syphon in an old 9l cistern. Gerberit stuffs not bad, best ones don’t make use of pneumatics or cables as they’re always the weak points
