it is pretty simple - don't breach your budget.duncs500 wrote: Sun Oct 30, 2022 11:20 am Whilst I'm sure it's open to manipulation, I don't think it's quite so simple. The rules have prescribed different amounts in different pots from the analysis I've seen. So the rules might give you a £2k hookers budget, and a £150 gas bill budget, then your breach would be on the gas bill and not the hookers.

I think the fine should be split equally between the other teams and not included in their allowed spend for the next season. So then there’s a clear disadvantage to “accidentally“ overspending, as you’re giving the competition more money for the next year.
Cheers,

I like it! Do that with the wind tunnel time too.IanF wrote: Sun Oct 30, 2022 12:07 pm I think the fine should be split equally between the other teams and not included in their allowed spend for the next season. Driver wages are separate and uncapped to prevent this from occurring or you might find a grid full of strolls latifis and maldonadosduncs500 wrote: Sun Oct 30, 2022 11:21 am If it was just one pot, it would only be pay drivers on the grid, because you could do a lot of aero development with LHs wages!
Re: No F1 thread?
Drivers + 3 highest paid people in each team are excluded from cost cap I think. Red Bull should pay Christian Horner a few million more next year so he can start sub contracting his own personal chefs

Would be interesting to know how much that's the case. Ferrari were suggesting there's not much of an impact losing 10% of aero time as what they can't spend on that they can spend what they save on other performance areas.duncs500 wrote: Sun Oct 30, 2022 11:20 am Whilst I'm sure it's open to manipulation, I don't think it's quite so simple. Horner's getting an absolute (and well-deserved) pasting on Twitter for RB boycotting Sky F1 because Ted Kravitz mentioned a hypothetical movie script where Lewis was robbed of the title. This has backfired on him in a big way. Matthew Syed's piece in The Times is spot on.

If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

He’s just a whiny little prick isn’t he. Always the victim. Never his fault.
Re: No F1 thread?
I have no real interest in F1 anymore but even then, I still can't stand him...
Re: No F1 thread?
I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt many times, maybe he’s just a puppet and Helmut’s pulling his strings etc. But last week when he started playing the victim and going on about the entirely true allegations causing Red Bull employees mental health issues and playground bullying etc I thought he showed his true colours of being a horrible piece of shit.

I wouldn’t call him a loser. I’d call him an absolute cunt of the highest order
Re: No F1 thread?
You have misread that, it said "self serving cant" although possibly a typo...
