Impossible to put a number on it, I’d just keep buying anything I thought interesting and never want to sell anything.

If you’ve got basically infinite money you never need to work, and wouldn’t be too much of an effort to take a few out each day….

I think I'd have about 15 cars, a couple of caravans, a couple of motorbikes, and a motorhome with a garage under it for abroad.

Buying cars is far more exciting than owning them, so I would probably buy lots, drive them occasionally, then sell some at a bad time to get some cash back, lose money on those ones, swear to own fewer cars in the future, before spunking a load of cash on some more random cars. Repeat until I run out of cash or life.

Exactly. We both learned car buying behaviours during teenage years at car auctions and flipping through Glass’ guide, AutoTrader and Loot. The main difference with ownership is that I drive cars into the ground and then sell whereas SJ fixes them.
