I'll rise to it!
I know quite a few people who got covid (pre vaccinations) - maybe around a year ago. all fit healthy young people with no pre-existing conditions.
One family of three (mum dad and toddler) were totally wiped out all at the same time, couldn't move from bed for days at a time. Sounded horrendous.
My brother and his family were similar - though theirs went through them one at a time. In bed for days - not good.
Most people who caught it back then seemed to have similar experiences - really bad flu like symptoms. Not so bad for a 30-40 year old but would have certainly killed someone like my mum who was going through cancer treatment.
Then there's the mythical long covid:
Well one of my best mates was super fit and was training for ultra-marathons etc.. caught covid, was ill for just one day, then has barely been able to run since and had to get an inhaler because his childhood asthma came back.
I'm damn glad that it's diluted itself to what it is now!
