No potato products? I thought you were Irish!?dinny_g wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 10:40 am A fry up consists of:
Bacon, Sausage, Fried Egg, White Pudding, Black Pudding, Toast, Tea
Beans, Mushrooms, Hash Browns, tomatoes (raw or cooked) and any other type of eggs can fuck right off IMO...
Surely they’ll want the clientele to continue using the cutlery provided?Explosive Newt wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 1:38 pm This is just a standard "special" isn't it? The chef just using up things they have too much of. Oh we have a surplus of tomatoes and beans.... ok let's just bung them into the full English and call them something fancy, people will lap it up.
We eat spuds for lunch, dinner, tea and supper - no need for them at breakfast...duncs500 wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 4:09 pmNo potato products? I thought you were Irish!?dinny_g wrote: Mon Nov 15, 2021 10:40 am A fry up consists of:

Amen. Also add bacon, square sausage, haggis, black pudding, fried mushrooms and fried or poached eggs. Lashings of brown sauce too if you please.

Pete_ wrote: Wed Nov 17, 2021 10:44 pm I don't like baked beans with a fry, or at all (except proper homemade type).
I like a cooked tomato with my fry, but I once had a fry in the cafe at Tesco and they used a canned plum tomato.![]()
Love potato bread, but controversially I think Hash Brown would be my ideal potato based item for a fry, with pancakes as the bread.
