Not an easy one as the Weber calibrated scale doesn’t start until 70, but I gave it my best shot.
It’s a good 12.28 seconds before I get the 4th burner lit, so I am very confident this could be improved with more hands (or a sneaky gas loading from all 4 burners before gently thumbing the igniter), and also if I didn’t have to pause to display the international sign of “shush” to Mrs mik after she opened the patio door and initially looked confused, before rolling her eyes at me )
A reasonably respectable 38.34 seconds nonetheless by my stopwatch - keeping me from the bottom of the 60-100 Leaderboard

Added a kettle alongside the barrel bbq as it should be easier to do slow and low cooking with a snake of charcoal round the edge.

Yes. Look like cracking things and even more likely to cook more outdoors with one of these and much easier and controllable for low and slow stuff. Very tempted! If only the wife would stop buggering about with the house for a while

The Traeger D2 Pro 780 arrived today. Easy to assemble, beautifully packaged and of very high quality. Super impressed so far.
Got it fired up, connected to the WiFi and completed the seasoning. Then chucked in some beef cheeks that'd been rubbed for a few hours. Followed a little later by some rubbed ribs and then some potatoes to roast. Will be eating it all very shortly.
It's a beast of a thing and quite large but it's a doddle to use. Can't wait to cook a lot more outdoors!

I can control temp or send cooking programs to the grill so it can cook based upon temp, timer or the meat probe. It's brilliant!
