Thanks Mik. As I’ve told you before a good PA such as yourself knows when a question is within their remit and when to hold the enquiry until their boss is available. This time you’ve judged the circumstances perfectlymik wrote: Fri Jan 29, 2021 12:18 pm I expect he’s out driving his new supercar, so I can confirm : yes.

Re: EOTR Cayman GT4
As Mik guessed, I’ve been cutting about doing my work day in the Mclaren today. It’s been absolutely wonderful. I’ve had 4 perfect strangers, including 2 approx 8 year old boys with their mums on separate occasions, sat in the drivers seat beaming with joy. Reactions have been overwhelmingly positive which is really nice to experience.
I’m getting used to the controls now as well so I’m becoming confident in revving right through up to 8.5k (i think that’s the limiter) and banging up and down through the gears and using the engine braking.
There will be plenty more stories to come, but my thoughts after today are - The 600lt is about double price of the GT4 to buy and broadly speaking perhaps the same in the cost of owning and using, but my evaluation of it so far is that it offers about 3 times the experience. I realise this is impossible to quantify and it may be the honeymoon period, but in a round about sort of way it feels like better value than the GT4 for what I personally look for in a 2nd car

Re: EOTR Cayman GT4
I have a few but I can’t figure out how to post them. Mik [my PA] could post by proxy i guess but that seems a little weird since he isn’t *actually* my PA. Maybe someone could explain to me again how to post photos on hereduncs500 wrote: Fri Jan 29, 2021 7:32 pmSounds great, orange cars get attention! My old Exige got quite a bit, so I can imagine a lot in a Macca. Any of your own pics?
Re: EOTR Cayman GT4
Well you need somewhere to host them (I use Imgur), then you upload them to there and copy the Web address (should end in .jpg). Then you paste in the address with (img)<insert url>(/img)... only use square brackets rather than round ones.revsRus wrote: Fri Jan 29, 2021 7:45 pmI have a few but I can’t figure out how to post them. If you quote someone with a picture in their post, you should see how it should look in text.

Yeah. Just make sure you press on the image before copying the link in order to get the one ending in jpg.revsRus wrote: Fri Jan 29, 2021 7:52 pmI’ll give that a bash.
