That hideous monstrosity would illicit cavity searches. The sharp snap of a latex glove and dibble trying to find the back of your teeth 😂😂

It's even more "drug dealer" than a RRS

That is a lovely thing but it doesn't look like it's had a brake upgrade. Years ago, a dad of one of my ex-girlfriends had a 1969 E-Type Coupe and he let me have a go. It was utterly terrifying as the brakes were only slightly better than wind resistance at slowing the thing down. Apparently, they're all like that unless they've had a brake upgrade.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

I think this looks great, but don’t think I would be brave enough to own a car in that colour.

Ah, you’ve explained why it exists now - German car, should have guessed.

Far less torque than the Q7 but similar power. Not sure if it would cope with towing.

I tow 3.4 tonnes with the wheezy Defender, I’m sure that will cope just fine

So much to unpack about this car.... Quite the assault on the senses.

That’s... a bit much.

Still looks better than the horrendous mid-engined thing they produced though.

Shall we make a convertible or a full on track monster next?

Yes.

It's awful - it would be ok as a hardtop without the wing.

Is that Champagne-something-or-other? I'm sure they used that as a launch colour for the 996, was in brochures and looked good, but in a "nice but I'd never actually own it" sort of a way.

Yeah, but Ste was adamant his X5 had a bigger boot than a Disco 4, so I'm not sure I trust his judgement ;)

Boot is tiny in the Cayenne, noticeably smaller than the Touareg and not as useful because of the rake of screen. Cayenne’s are not cheap to keep running.

Bin the spoiler and wrap it in a dark colour and it'd be ace! I love top down motoring and having that engine to listen to would be superb.

As it is though, it's bloody awful.

Voice of recent experience ? Not completely surprising to be fair but if you've got some pointers that'd be handy.

Also surprised the boot is significantly smaller. What's the driving position like compared to the Touareg ?
