Re: Your fleet running reports

My average MPG continues to creep up, currently at 51mpg since I bought it 2500 miles ago. I think my motoring is quite well suited to hybrid life and I’ll definitely have another and will go full EV when they can charge quickly everywhere!

Also same thing with the Apple Watch, it seems to randomly call 999 a few times per year…
Yeah my Galaxy watch detected a hard fall when I was doing something mildly strenuous and started calling for help.

Ah, I thought they might be capable of sending out gps coordinates if you were too banged up to know where you are.

SOS buttons

Like airbags they’re one of those things we like to have but hope to never need. Was just wondering, has anyone ever used one, what happens?

DeskJockey wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 10:21 pm This is a good outcome. Can he run while serving a sentence? Seems impossible that he can run for president when convicted criminals can't vote (I think).
He could be jailed and still be President, the US is that weird.

Other boring motor race.

The Indy 500 is due to start soon but has been delayed due to rain, might be worth a watch.

It was a bucket list item for us too

Hope you have a great time there :)

Anyone interested before it goes on the usual places? It was my Dad’s and barely used. It’s the 15 inch one. 2.2 GHz quad core Intel core i7 16GB

I share an office space with 4 women aged from 24 to 60. Some of the conversations are eye opening…

Re: Randomness

They are a menace in certain areas around here but can you imagine the uproar if out police did that? Don't get me wrong, I think they should but the officers would be the ones on trial.

Can't do that with a cost cap. Unless he suddenly has a desire to start a catering company of course
I’m quite certain they’ll have ways round it.

Re: Pole/extended hedge trimmers

In my experience you're better off buying one of those transforming ladders with platforms. I tried doing out hedge with and extending trimmer and they are too unwieldy at height. I know use a platform and feel far safer and it's easier to get a decent cut
