Those wheels are great. I was recommending the same to someone relatively recently (on Twitter/X I think).

"Stick shift? No I haven't, but hey - how hard can it be?"
Real shame there is no sound.

Re: SOS buttons
Weirdly we have a fault on the e-tron for the SOS system. Warning came on as I drove it back from having the front motor replaced. The system still works - I have twice spoken to the nice people at the Audi response centre to explain that I was trying to reset the system - but the automated function...

Italian Poplar
Have been borderline obsessed with this substance since I first saw it. Crap building material as it’s not strong - burnt in the past as it was considered junk, but if there is a more beautiful wood - I haven’t seen it. Had the option to get a poplar/resin table - which did look immense - but opted ...

Interesting. He was always very positive about it, so maybe it’s a one-in-one-out victim (?)Matty wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 11:28 pm Harry's Emira is up for sale:

Re: For the FTAO of Sim racing folk
Just seen this, and skipped to the end - he made well into 5 figures, by the looks of it. He was on about £8k running upto the end then had a massive glut of people donating $100-$200 and loads of £10-£50 as well. I thought it was for charity, which was fair enough....but then he just said "th...

Re: Do automatic ICE cars need tachometers/rev-counters?
Yep - the much more useful one is oil temperature rather than pressure so you're not hooning it before its up to temperature - the 911 takes a looong time for the oil to get completely warm. VXR8 had battery voltage, oil pressure, and oil temp. I'd agree the latter was most useful. One of the reaso...

Re: Trump guilty
He could be jailed and still be President, the US is that weird. To be fair, it was probably never anticipated as a possibility that they'd require a rule for(?) Below is the transcript of Trump's response to the verdict. I continue to be astounded that he receives support when he just slobbers abs...

Re: For the FTAO of Sim racing folk
Erm why? I just took a look before a meeting - he's on lap 161 of 200. I watched for about 90 seconds, and in that space of time one viewer donated £99. :o I expect that's quite extraordinary, but I suspect he'll do pretty well out of this from donations alone.... Edit: just popped on again and in ...
