Re: Being offended

I am pretty sure Friends did an episode on this very subject. Comforting to know there is a definitive guide

We generally just divide it up and trust to our friends not being dicks.

Re: Disney +

I was £75 for sky £40 for plusnet and £15 for netflix now paying £71 for the package. So if they offered me the same deal and I added F1 it would be £89, we only pay £6 I think for Netflix so we would be £3 worse off I think, plus when I got my fibre BB there were very few people looking after the ...

Re: Disney +

I have admittedly lost the F1 and they want £18 a month to get it back. But i decided that as i rarely watched it that was fine. Had a look now online, then checked how much BB + landline are through EE. £81 all in at the moment with no calls but I never actually use the homeline ither than connect...

Re: Disney +

Sky now do a package that includes netflix for £25 a month. I changed my package and added broadband. With the netflix account included and cheaper broadband its saved me £58.50 per month. Saved you £58.50? Bloody hell. I did spot a SkyQ advert that mentioned the Netflix inclusion but I have the ol...

Re: Disney +

Ah OK, I guess I will wait and get it on DVD. I already have Sky and Netflix although I rarely watch Netflix but the kids love it. Most of the content on Disney+ seems to be stuff I already own on DVD anyway so £20 for a box set may make more sense. Sky now do a package that includes netflix for £2...

Re: Bullet bitten

I liked Lotus Challenge or possibly Esprit Challenge, my brother and I used to see how many people we could knock over. Strangely GTA has never appealed though. I did recently dig my PS2 out and the kids played some sort of tekken v streetfighter type game and loved it, the graphics, especially on a...

Re: No F1 thread?

back then? Vettel and Rosberg are fairly recent and rubbing wheels back in the day could land you in the morgue. This season rubbing is racing seems to be the mantra for the stewards and penalties are only being handed out for taking the piss.

Re: No F1 thread?

But it was a grey area until it was clarified by the FIA. Plus they'd have looked fvcking stupid ruling it illegal given Brawn had asked them a few times in the pre-season as to whether his interpretation of the regs was within the realms Did the FIA actually deem the double diffusers illegal at th...

I quite fancy the new Mandalorian series but there does not seem to be a date or way confirmed to get the channel in the UK as yet.

Does anyone know more as I know a lot of you chaps seem to have a great deal of tech knowledge.

Re: No F1 thread?

My favourite thing about Lewis winning title number 6 is the number of people on various comments sections still declaring that Lewis just isn’t that good a driver. One comment “he lacks raw talent”. OK there, Sparky. It is quite amazing. His first season he beat Alonso. He is beating Bottas who ma...

I was trying to be nice. In fairness threads about other white goods seem very popular these days so a fridge on wheels surely carries on the theme?

Re: Lease deals (Nd)

On page 2 now and nobody has told him leasing is DIW and he should get a snotter and run it into the ground instead (I know he has one but that has never stopped the good people on here). Ioniq wins prizes does it not? Of the reasonably priced EVs it seems pretty good. Good luck, will be interesting...

Did you manage to get your celebratory 50p coin, Tim? Now worth more than a Lloyds share. 56.7p as of 8.22am. :( I am not retiring on that! Jobbo - when was the referendum to change from FPTP? I have no memory so I assume during my late teens - early twenties or before I was aware? 2011, Gav. https...

Re: Bye Bye Boris!

His credible deal may just be more of the same but given it is highly unlikely any deal will be better than staying in and trying to affect some changes perhaps that is the only solution.

WTF? whose poll was that from? The Heil or the Torygraph? I am sure 2/3 want it all to be over but I sincerely hope there are not that many people happy to shaft the country with a shitty deal just to stop it all.

...he said bring this shit show to an end, I presume he doesn't want to open a new and altogether worse chapter on the shit show. ;) There is no way to bring this shitshow to an end. Pandora's Box was opened on 23 June 2016 Scary that you may be right! I am struggling to see how to amicably settle ...
