Re: Bye bye Starmer
If you’re going to spend 14 years slinging shit at the opposition every chance you get, don’t be surprised if you get it thrown back when positions are reversed.
Same bunch of cnuts in different colours.
Really wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Farage was our next pm.
It is testament ...

Re: How do you perform contactless payment with your phone?
I really should set it up, as a back up, but I still carry my car. I know my daughter has set up her card on her phone, so may get her to assist me.

I got a badge at the fringe that says "I am not a robot" but I am not sure that will help to log in.

Re: The Holiday Thread
We went to Rhodes at the start of the school holidays, then my wife and daughter did a last minute short in Ibiza, the quiet side, then a week or so later my wife and i nipped to Crete for a last minute shorty holiday. I just booked a few nights in mid September in Spain, when my Mother lives with ...

The Tourismo version look amazing, although I agree the new lights are a little bland. A pal just bought a second hand one, no idea how old, but it looks the volts.
It does look a lot smaller than an S6 Avant though

Re: A Levels
My Daughter did get her Higher results a week or so ago, 4 x A and 2 x B althouh she is appealing one of the B grades. It is enough to get into St Andrews to read History, which is her current desire, but she has 6th year and 3 Advanced Highers this year, so she may change her mind.

We took PCP on the Yeti, so just sent off an email asking Alphera what's what. If it nets us a few squids, fair enough.

My Sister's ex fiance made me one. He lives somewhere on Arran and is called Luke. He used to have a motorbike and cheated on my sister with a lady named Julie. THat should be enough to help you track him down!
Re: Trump
I thought he must he pretty popular with the wealthy up there? His golf courses seem busy and doing well enough to open a second one.
Also another thing that crossed my mind was the Scottish authorities spending weeks fencing off his entire golf course and then the UK sending thousands of ...

Re: Autotrader
I remember when Autotrader was print only and when you placed an ad, a bloke would come out and take photos of your car.
I always thought that would be a great job! (When I was 18).
I had noticed that using the "30 miles from me" now includes supermarket cars that will deliver to you. I couldn ...

Re: Should you have to learn to operate a new vehicle?
If selling a car, showing the buyer where lights, wipers nd hazards seems a sensible idea TBH. BUt that would suffice. I agree many drivers seem to struggle with most aspects of driving, and I suspect getting into an EV or somthing similarly techy, I would take a moment to find stuff
Re: Trump
Apparently he is mooching around Scotland. I suspect he will not be made welcome by the public, the National Headline "34 time convicted Felon visits Scotland" and apparently plenty of signs, wheree he is due "Twinned with Epstein Island"

Re: Motosport / Car Memorabilia
I have an official F1 Diary, based on an early 2000s FT Diary that never went out. Bernie used to buy loads and get them all personalised for the movers and shakers in F1, I worked at Letts at the time and he just didn't pay in 2003 or 2004, and they pretty much all got pulped. I probably have one ...

Sounds like a fun day out. I remember getting tickets for a Furmula Renault event when a mate bpought a new Clio 172, many years ago. Renault Sport (No Alpine?) were great for freebie events.

Ooooo having turned 50 the other week I wish I had seen this as I renewed yesterday as the premium on the Mini had actually gone down, which was nice.
Certianly nicer than the bowl screening kit I got though as a pressie from the NHS!

Re: How far would you go to help the Police?
When I was taxiing, I followed an obviously drunk driver and c alled it in, The caught the guy at his home, and he said his wife had been driving and was not a good driver. I called 101 as it didn't seem to be an emergency so the call cost sevral thousand pounds which pissed me off. I then had to ...
