It downloaded ….eventually. It’s on 6.14, seems like VirtualBox doesn’t even support it, no headers or something. The fvck do I know
Found all my other stuff can use web based apps and works just fine. I’ll leave Fusion360 for the desktop and perhaps try Onshape but there may be another way ...

So current WiFi speed is 500mbps and I’m downloading Windows from Microsoft at a whopping 1.2mb per second and it keeps stopping completely. Been at it for over an hour now

Yes from what I see almost everything is compatible and it will only get better with the new Steam machine running the same software. Only thing is I think I’ll have to keep my desktop PC windows - from what I’m reading Linux doesn’t play well with force feedback wheels. Also I’m pretty comfortable ...

Microsoft is fucking awful, gets worse every year. I would say the way it tries to sign you up to copilot and 365 is proper malware levels of annoying now.
Had enough, installed Mint on my ancient laptop to see if I can live with it. I’m really not all that into tech and computers but looking ...

Bought this but haven't had a go yet. I love rally games but get bored fast on a wheel. Once you get sweaty from all the sawing it just gets unpleasant

I’ve done that in the Tesla. Nice on a motorway when you’re almost fully braking, see a car behind you not paying attention. Go to press the hazards and hit the SOS instead. Couldn’t cancel it either, went straight to 999 rather than a customer service thing

I’d use Bilt Hamber, especially if I had a new car because they do a clear product so your car doesn’t look like it’s hiding bad things and added bonus for anyone working on the car
I think Lanoguard is crap.

I’m surprised it’s only 20% more in the last 5 years. The building materials I frequently purchase are at least 100% more!

If you’re going to stay there and want to do it then it’s surely better to do it sooner? Material and labour costs have generally risen more than inflation. Material far far more.

You go down the next road and you have all the mansions owned by lovely Russians and the one that belonged to Gaddafi. The Bitcoin thief lady on the news a few days ago rented and was trying to buy there. Some third world politicians also live there with entirely legitimate sources of wealth.

Re: How important is the "Right" spec?
The RR had to be a Vogue SE as they have soft close doors and anyone with a wife and kids knows that you need that on a large 4x4 unless you want to endure the rest of eternity waiting for people to reclose doors that haven't latched properly
And I bet you the moment you got a car with ...

It’s surprising that the windows still roll down, don’t think I’ve seen that before on an armoured car but then again I haven’t seen many armoured cars.

Must be a false economy for the retailers though. They shaft themselves in Q3 as everyone just waits for Black Friday.
