That's absolutely appalling. My E46, and long before that my wife had an E87 118d, both were very good. Even my 740d would do mid-forties mpg on the motorway.

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers
EE have turned off 3G and my car doesn’t have 4G - looks like it was the 2018 update (with touchscreen climate like GG’s) that got 4G. Very very late 2017 I guess. Mine was actually built in late 2016, delivered Jan 2017. So I’ve just been out to Argos and bought the 3 prepaid SIM. That’ll do until ...

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers
OK, cool. It's able to connect to my home wifi if I park it right by the lounge window so I guess it should be able to connect to a phone (or standalone) hotspot. I'll try it at lunchtime.

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers
Put some time into this today, stuck a pre paid 12 month SIM card in and this lets the car connect online so you get satellite imagery in maps, speed cameras, traffic, iPhone remote connectivity and opens up a whole new section in the infotainment with a web browser and flight tracker. This looks i...

a 1979 Porsche 924... I see your 1979 Porsche 924 and raise you a 1984 Porsche 924 Lux. And a Caravan. A V6 Peugeot 406 to tow the caravan  A Discovery 3. A Hot Tub. A Mane to make the Dog look like a Lion. A Didgeridoo (not signed by Rolf). I think that's the ones I got in the most trouble fo...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Is it mega money to insure it? I didn't get a brand new policy, I swapped the existing Smart policy over to this so I don't have an exact figure, I think it's equivalent to about £1200pa. The policy renews in July so I'll do the proper meerkat at that point. If you email me VIN I can get you full s...

Re: Your fleet running reports
As far as I know it’s not broken, just high miles: 135k. But drives beautifully, is one owner from new, and has been serviced on time every year. It also has the correct OEM Pirelli tyres all round with loads of tread. Seems like a car that’s been looked after. It’s being delivered tomorrow with an...

Re: Your fleet running reports
What trim level was the one you looked at? I would also try and get the Vogue SE with the soft fold doors if your wife/kids/MIL are anything like mine - its has saved opening and re-closing a not fully closed door approximately 3.6million times in the last two years  It was an Autobiography. Incidentally, on the way there, at one of the big roundabouts near here there were some crusty protesters with "less solar more real farms" placards. I didn't realise anti-solar was a subset of environmental issues ? Anyway, I considered shouting "GET A FCUKING HAIRCUT, HIPPY" bu...

Re: Motorway Mile Munchers
Drinks less than the 120d and 320d courtesy cars he’s had despite its size. They were broken or he was ragging them senseless. The 120d especially should do 60+mpg without breaking a sweat. Even my old E46 320td would do 60mpg and that was without any modern tech. And it had over 200k miles on it.
