Re: Speed Limiters - July '24

The A329 into Reading is a dual carriageway with a bend that has a 50mph sign; I was following a Tesla M3 at just under 80 that suddenly jammed on its brakes and slowed. Driver indicated, pulled over and wave apologies to everyone who then overtook him.. will cause more issues than it solves

Re: Speed Limiters - July '24

So you can buy the 2024 model, or the 2023 model without it? Nope. It's one of Mik's polls. Brand new only. Ferrari or Dacia and both have speed limiters (that actually work for sake of argument). Ferrari bankrupt in a matter of months. Cool! I’ll buy a 12Cilindri for £25k, to help them out plus it...

Drcarlos: you need to change your name to DJCarlos! 😁 That sounds pretty damn cool! Can we have a VIP section when you get to Glastonbury!? I’m organising a sailing holiday in the Adriatic next summer as my daughter will be 16 so can get her ICC; will just be the two of us (plus trainer) on the boat...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

And let’s look at how well Labour run Wales and London are doing.. nope, they are all shockingly shit, self-serving hypocrites; no matter what colour they profess. That's a line straight out of Tufton Street. London and Wales get their funding from.... the government. You really think the Tories ar...

Re: 2023 Events - what's worthwhile?

Went to Savile Row Concours today, some interesting cars, two Lotii and the Callum Skye were the only modern ones.. someone drove a DB6 (with plate 9OND) out as I got there, very cool car but just shows how beautiful the DB5 is to me.. Bought some shoes, shocked by Church’s prices these days, and no...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

I think the main thing is to elect a party that isn't, you know, using the deliberate harming of the poor and marginalised as a vote-winning tactic. Maybe a party that would be uncomfortable with the concept of lining their pockets as the country burns, and 'letting the bodies pile up in the street...

Re: Seatbelts on planes

The troposphere is from ground level to the tropopause, which is the boundary with the stratosphere. It typically happens at a certain temp and temp decreases by 2 degrees per 1000ft in the troposphere so that’s why it’s higher in warmer climes. Weather in the stratosphere is smoother though. The IT...

Re: Seatbelts on planes

I’ve only experienced severe turbulence once in 25 years. Severe is when you can’t even read any of the displays, cabin interior panels open, people end up stuck to the floor or ceiling. Most people never experience anything above moderate as we plan to avoid severe, but don’t mind a few bumps. I al...

Hybrid 992.2 is out this year.. I think September? 992.1 actually already has space for hybrid gubbins as it was designed in..
