Yeah, hence my Jodie Kidd suggestion. Car nut, ex-racer, bigger name than someone like Rebecca Jackson.

I don’t rate Kidd’s presenting style though, when she was in that Classic Car Show on Five.

Re: Harry M’s Arctic Roll[s]

That makes me want to take the Defender back but this time get into Russia. Not watched the videos yet but just finished reading the OV9 new Ford GT article from a few months ago where they visited Arctic Circle Raceway. I would like to go back to Norway but this time includes a track day at ACR, t...

Can’t disagree with you there. Luckily (?!) I drive an old Porsche so don’t have to deal with that stuff.

Anyway, another fan of Evora here.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Genuinely thought you might keep the Elise a while! What's the replacement going to be Matty? I've had it two years now, which is usually my "time to swap". I was planning to buy an Evora, like Mik Mikkeleson, however the "S" models are a bit of a stretch financially and I'm not...

Re: Your fleet running reports

X74! Looking purposeful 8-) Thanks :) I need to thank you for prompting me to get the 5-spoke wheels. I'm liking them more and more, I think I prefer them to the splits now. Yeah the 5-spoke look good and bonus for 10kg saving. They look great on X74, even better than my M030. M030: http://www.911u...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Cheers for taking the time to write that up Steve 😎 YK was kind enough to let me drive his 996... felt a bit more than 260bhp , which is only ~30bhp more than my 968 (well, I haven't had my 968 on a rolling road, so can't be sure. It might be down on power too!) Of course it felt a bit more than 26...

Re: Your fleet running reports

How does the Vantage compare to your 996, performance wise? The 996 has ~80 fewer BHP, but weighs something like 200kg less, right? I'm guessing they feel rather different in how they deploy their power, despite both being NA? It’s closer to 250-275 kg. Google suggests Vantages to be 16xx kg. C2 is...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I too wonder if it needs to be decoked. Charlie did say it’s normal for M96/7 to be ‘under’, but DFI engines should be a lot better, and GT3s to be ‘over’, particularly RS. I love green Astons. 8-) Green or some sort of dark metallic red would be my choice.

IIRC Nutty’s one was tungsten silver so a nice colour but common (which might work against reselling).
