Re: Decent Recent TV

Started watching Normal People last night, and ended up doing the first 5 episodes back-to-back. :o Beautifully shot love story, with loads of very uncomfortable and "jeezus, remember your youth?" type scenes. Pretty emotional. Some great acting too imho. Don't watch with your kids as there is quit...

Re: Car washed whilst in for a service?

I'd expect it at a main dealer but not necessarily an indy or back street place. My Audi was in for a service on Monday and as usual they asked if i wanted it cleaned inside and out, as usual I said yes. They always do a good job and it saves me time *shrug* Thread drift but they had an RS7 with a s...

Bought a pack of 50 on Amazon last night. I've used gloves to go shopping in the past but no mask. But now they're going to be compulsory, thought it best to get a few!

Excellent choice 😎 Seal Grey is a lovely colour too.

No heated seats in mine. I’d be interested in what other options you have to see where mine sits as regards spec level.

It'd be nice to think a 599 would be in budget at some pont.
Had a glance at prices. They’ve been on the rise since I last looked..

I saw an 812 near Cirencester yesterday, not too far from Harry’s neck of the woods.

Re: Harry’s Garage

I've always had more of a thing for the V12s. The idea of a long journey in a mildly mental GT appeals to me more than screaming round a track in one of the V8s.

It'd be nice to think a 599 would be in budget at some pont.

I love my 987 S but it’s not getting used much so I’m considering parting with it. It’s a 3.2 (updated IMS bits) They really are a fantastic package. Purchase thread Looks nice! Will go read the thread properly now. @240PP What’s the spec, likely price etc if you don’t mind me asking? Just trying t...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Tomorrow begins the saga of getting back from Aldermaston after dropping the Porsche at Northway for its service, MOT and a few odds and ends addressing like the roof not always closing flush on one side. Bracing myself for an interesting train journey or two... I’d be interested to know your opini...

Re: Where’s the car price crash apocalypse ?

I’m just curious, my Vantage came from Guernsey and had low miles because it’s almost literally impossible to do high miles on a small island. Guernsey is smaller though, only 12 miles long. I spent a couple of days in Guernsey and deduced they must have the highest number of Aston Martins per capi...

I get the connection to DB7 but it'd be a 9 everytime for me.
My thinking exactly. The DB9 is one of the most perfectly proportioned cars ever IMO.

Re: Decent Recent TV

I've just recently watched the first two seasons of The Wire . I've enjoyed it. Not sure it's the greatest TV that's ever been, but its pretty good. I didn’t rate it. But I was told by two people that it was better than The Sopranos’ so it had a a lot of work to do.. I’ve just started watching the ...

Divorced in 2015. Found my wedding ring in its box in some salopettes a couple of years later.

When we got married I thought I’d just wear it for special occasions but I found I pretty much wore it the whole time.
