Re: Trump

it’s bad isn’t it, that you almost in a way don’t want them to end the war in Gaza because Trump has been part of the solution…. i said almost!

I wouldn't go that far, but I do agree that on Gaza, he does deserve credit (if things do improve there)

Re: Today’s want

That era of RRS has an awful image IMO. Very chintzy and often leaning to one side because of knackered suspension that the owner doesn’t want to fork out for.

Disco 4s still look good. A mate had a couple from new, all in black, classy looking motors.

Just read that GVE owned the building they were trading out of. Could that be sold and buyers reimbursed some cash that way?

Do FB links cause anyone else’s iPhone to spaz out if you press ‘back’ on a page that has them?

Re: Teh Spotted Thread

I was beginning to think nobody was buying non-63 G Wagons but I saw a G350d and a G500 this morning.

There seemed to be an inordinate amount of them around Cheltenham a couple of years ago but it appears they have mostly moved on to Defenders.

Oasis last weekend. I passed up the chance to see them a few times in the 90s, not quite the same as back then I guess but still well worth it.

Richard Ashcroft was ace too.

Re: Watch This!

Did similar over a field in a Daihatsu Sportrak but through the roof rather than the door. We were young, drunk and using a cheap car, seemed a risk worth taking for the lols.

I’d like to think we wouldn’t have tried if one of us had a McLaren to hand.

Yep, shocking that one. He seemed in decent nick these days, makes me wonder if he struggled with life out of the ring. RIP.

Couple of other observations from my Rome trip. On the way in, my other half and son were diverted in to a separate line at Passport Control - as expected post Brexit. Travelling on an Irish Passport, I was diverted to the EU line. EU Line had no self scanners and 3 people working so it too me 50 ...

Which probably says it all about the BMW launch.

I can only guess everyone thinks it’s a spiffing idea or it’s all just got so farcical now that people aren't wasting their breath?

I suspect the latter. Housing minister buys second (you might say third) home in the middle of a housing crisis, makes the papers for a couple of days then ...
