Already got a much loved, but little worn pair (Java brown). They were a necessity for the Caterham but I've got a worn old pair of Adidas that are perfect for the Elise, it will be a sad day when they give up the ghost.

I do find the Speedcat a little uncomfortable, but maybe I didn't wear them enough to break them in properly.

I've ordered a pair - I find the rubbery heels of my Converse All Stars feel a bit like I'm just going to mangle them so thought it worth trying an alternative. Went for the Dark Myrtle ones because they are a nice blue/green which should clash impressively with the MX5 wrap

Excellent spot, I asked about shoes some time ago because I couldn't find any Speedcats to replace mine that had died.

Shall I be an utter twonk and get the Ferrari red ones ?

I had the red "Sparco" branded ones previously. I found the soles too hard with the sparco ones, but these non sparco ones are spot on.

@duncs500 Think you need to wear them in a bit more. I found them very comfy.

Oh yeah. I'd need an 11 and they don't have any of the colours in that size.

I had some dark brown ones *ages* ago and they were like lovely soft slippers. The next pair were pale beige and much stiffer all over. They must have changed their materials (or factory) slightly in between.

As noted, I also went for a pair, but figured that I should avoid a scenario where Scott and I could find ourselves in the same place at the same time with the same shoes - hence payed another fiver for a pair in black/white instead of black/orange.

I do still have my £55 in-the-sale Onitsuka Tiger EDR78 in bright yellow which generally feel great, but I find the sole pattern allows them to wriggle slightly when I pivot onto my heal. To the point that I swapped back to a pair of worn New Balance trainers when I had the car at Anglesey...... maybe I just need to wear them down a bit more as other folks rave about them as the GOAT.

I also noted they don’t do any of them in adult sizes.

I need a pair for the Clio as it’s a bit tippy tied in my normal Air Force Ones.

Why did I even bother looking? They don't do them in my size.

Not many size options there unfortunately- i really suit a 9.5 (44).

there are some red ones in that size on Vinted, it there’s no way i’m wearing bright red shoes on a track day!

not convinced they’re worn “once”, but cheap as red chips!

I agree with the not worn once! You could try the 9. They seem to be made slightly bigger. Im a 9 / 10 and the 9's have plenty room.
