I asked AI which car met this criteria.
It said Ferrari F40, so as it's tradition, I'm going with F40.

The servicing was going to get me and I really wanted the 4.7 not the 4.3 - which was out of my price range

I tried a F type S. It was good but ultimately lost on handling feel. It just didn't feel quite as special to punt around, so it lost out. Although it had definitely the best downshift noise.

Yes!
Sorry I was being disengenious when I didn't answer to V8 Vantage or Cayman but you can't end it on the second post.

2014 Cayman S with various bits of desirable kit (active suspension, switchable exhaust, adaptive headlights, etc), in great condition from a seemingly well regarded specialist who has refurbed the wheels, put new discs on and serviced it.

The interior is a bit special - two tone extended leather which I know won't be to everyone's taste but I think looks brilliant and actually sets it apart from the overwhelmingly high number of black interiors out there.

Nice!
Could you really live with a single temp for your and your passenger in 2026?
Re: Obligatory New Car Guessing Thread
That's a lovely combo with that interior
it looks great.
Re: Obligatory New Car Guessing Thread
That’s lovely. 981 is prettier than 718 and the spec of yours is great. Assuming the photo was taken after the wheel refurb, they’ve done it properly too; you occasionally see those wheels all in silver which is a cheapskate refurb.
Oh, and you have the most critical option: that steering wheel. *So* much nicer than the standard one.

Oh goodness yes. Whoever bought one with the tiptronic switches rather than the paddles was a mug.Jobbo wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2026 6:48 pm That’s lovely. 981 is prettier than 718 and the spec of yours is great.
