Re: Good Curry Houses

Pink Olives in Orpington is very nice. Takeaway only, but hands down the best curry I've had in years! I've just finished mopping up the last of the sauce with the naan bread.

Re: Anti-semitism

Would anyone here who is Jewish like to offer a direct, first hand view ?? I don't think a Corbyn government will make it less safe to be Jewish in the UK, it won't make it safer either. I grew up behind tall fences, police patrols and cameras, I'm always aware and see threats (often where none exi...

Re: Anti-semitism

Antisemitism has been around since Judaism stopped being a dominant religion in terms of numbers and it is every bit as nasty and ugly as you'd expect. From every day terms that people use without thinking to the Nazis and conspiracy nutters. While both the Tories and Labour have issues, that is tru...

Oi. I was serious about R4 but suggesting I willingly listen to Heart is going too far. As I explained it was a bad photo :(

FWIW, here are the current contents of the CD changer in The Touareg. Yes, a CD changer that still works !

Re: Your fleet running reports

Don't really like using de-icer, prefer dry scraping... (ignoring the requote...) Same here. The one nice thing about the winter and scraping the windows every morning is that they end up nice and clean. Compact update - a nice bit of bodging today. I decided to put a radio back in so that I can ge...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Tedious car update The mini failed its MOT on a knackered flexi pipe. I'd already had to change all four tyres and with a service, it's been a bit of a pricey month. On the plus side, it's in rude health. Now it's sorted, I'm planning what to spend my bonus on... Jimmy this weekend: https://pbs.twi...

Re: UK Drone Registration

One solution could be that the drone broadcasts the operator ID, so anyone with a receiver can capture it. That could help with registered devices.

However spoofing and the lack of ability to do anything to disable a drone will probably kill that idea.
