Re: Your fleet running reports

Digging around the cupboard under the stairs I found some 3M scratch and swirl remover, application pads, and some high gloss wax.

Re: Today’s want

That's gorgeous, plain and simple. Also, one is strangely comforted by knowing that the valve clearances have been carefully set! One wouldn't want ones valves to be set with any less attention and care.

Play Dirty (Prime)

Desperately wants to be as cool, suave and together as Ocean's 11, but isn't.

Plot is thinner than the orange menace's skin, and what tries for offhand cool and bad*ss mostly comes across as callous and weak.

Premise is decent enough, bettered many times before, but it is ...

Don't think so, but it would be too early for the networks to have merged that much infrastructure yet, I think.

We were down for two hours across all connectivity. Will move the mobiles to another network.

That was @Gwaredd, but it has been yonks since he was on here.

Stupid question: which side of the glass was it on? Could the residue be on the inside?

Re: Decent car YouTubes

I see Mat Armstrong is trying to buy a Chiron. If he gets it, which seems unlikely given Bugattis restrictions, I can’t see where his channel could go from there.

Into bankruptcy proceedings?

It’s obviously being funded from somewhere, I doubt he’s earning enough to be able to spunk a ...

There's only one thing for it: you're going on Grand Designs with an impossible project, unrealistic budget and timescales, no experience as a (DIY) builder, and the sky-high hopes of the terminal optimist.

Also get someone pregnant halfway through the build and we're on

Re: The House Projects Thread

Is that something a project manager in that field could/would do?

And just to challenge the architect requirement, wouldn't it be an opportunity to potentially change the layout to improve the value? If you're going back to a bare shell, it seems like the ideal time to modernise/improve.

That's serious criticism of Audi. Crazy that they don't recognise the value in supporting the enthusiast community long-term.

it’s bad isn’t it, that you almost in a way don’t want them to end the war in Gaza because Trump has been part of the solution…. i said almost!

I wouldn't go that far, but I do agree that on Gaza, he does deserve credit (if things do improve there)

The problem with Trump and the Nobel Prize ...

Zoe passed the MOT, but not before a fail for both rear number plate bulbs being out. Fixed on the spot, but annoying to have to pay for and wait.

They could have come and asked me while they were working on it, rather than wait.

Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue (iPlayer)

A really good watch that doesn't require too much of the viewer. Standout performance from Eric McCormack (Will in "Will and Grace"), definitely worth investing 6 x 50ish minutes in.

8/9 bodies.

I watched the first 10 mins of the 1st episode and ...
