Re: The AI Thread
Most places are pushing AI hard, it seems we've quickly pivoted from scepticism to expecting that it is integrated in all we do.

The sides of the lock are far too clean, and there are no leaks. Needs to improve!

That's shit. Hopefully there'll be justice, and as Dinny say, in time it'll fade.
Re: EV Thread
It'll take as much as it can get up to the maximum rate. But you can restrict that on the charger as well.
Re: EV Thread
We still have an issue when charging at the full 32A. Half is fine. Need to run a test with a friend's car to confirm it is the charger and not the Zoe.
If it is the charger, changing the handle/plug is the first step according to Zappi.

Lots of conversation about beans, but I need some links!
My daily, reasonably priced go-to is usually Taylors, but also found some of M&S stuff to be good as well.
I get all my coffee from White Rose in Yorkshire, they have an amazing selection of single origin coffees from around the world ...

Looks epic! I meant to mention that we spent a week near Olofström in Sweden at a campsite called Halens. In nature with a big lake on our doorstep, it was amazing.
This was followed by a week near the Hague in Duinrell in the Netherlands. There's an onsite waterpark and theme park which the ...

They asked if there were any "while you're there jobs", but the garage said no.

Re: Your fleet running reports
@DeskJockey you may remember that my wife's mechatronic shat its guts out a few years ago and we got it replaced at a local specialist to here. Over £2k still, but that was a lot cheaper than new from Skoda etc.
Worth a call?
Appreciate it, but they've accepted the quote from the garage it ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
The trailer tent is well within the tow rating for the car. That shouldn't be the issue. Whether the gearbox has ever been serviced might be a bigger thing. They take it to VW, but I've no idea of what the service schedules are like.

I looked up the garage the car is at, and they're (if the website is to be believed) experts on all things VAG (fnar).

Re: Your fleet running reports
They were recovered to a local VW specialist, and that's the quote they've been given. Slightly stuck in that they'd need to have the car recovered somewhere else and then wait for a diagnosis. Ideally they'd be able to get a couple of quotes, but I think it is too late for that now.

Not mine, but SiL's 17 plate Passat GTE has lunched its Mechatronic unit on the way home from holiday. Cost to repair is in excess of £5k

Re: 4 Paw Dog Drive Fleet running report
Just been to see our friends' puppies. Their Cocker Spaniel delivered a litter of six about a month ago, and they're quite cute. They're pure breed, and a lovely dark chocolate colour.
