Re: Guess the car..

Dammit.. that’s page 2! 🤣

Anyhoo, some have correctly surmised it’s a BMW.. however it’s not a black one! Actually, very little is black on it! It’s an IoM green M3 Touring with silverstone interior and silver wheels (admittedly it has black calipers).. picking it up next Friday

Re: Jaguar?

Be that as it may, I have now acquired an XJ12. It is everything I've expected it to be: slow, quiet, comfortable and beautiful. I love it to bits.

Fantastic! What era?

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I found the grace and pace dyanmic of driving was really common across all Jags ...

Re: Jaguar?

The Jaguar thing is a weird one for me. Being non-English, I certainly have less of a deep connection with the marque, simply because where I'm from, Jags have always been a rather rare sight on the roads.

However, I am acutely aware of the racing heritage and whenever I frequent the circuits of ...

Re: what car thread - Lotus Edition

From one tart to another, I can confirm an S1 Elise is a fabulous thing. I was in the same mindset as you for some time when an unmodified, very low mileage 1997 S1 in titanium/red popped up with one of the familiar dealers. The deal was made over the phone and the car picked up a week later in ...

Re: 2023/4 Events - what's worthwhile?

Should you be in the vicinity of the Nürburgring this weekend, pop in to the Oldtimer Grand Prix. It's a grand old event with over 500 race cars competing over three days.

I'm in the DRM Revival and the Historic Championship 81 with the Alfa Romeo GTAM.

Re: Jobbo interior

The lower dash being the colour of the seats is great. If it was black it would just look like the seats had been taken from a different car. It ties the interior colour scheme together.

It looks awkward in the pic, does it line up with the door cards?

It does. Interesting detail I wasn't ...

Re: Jobbo interior

I have finally found some real world photos of the Cayenne interior we've ordered. Quite pleased how Jobbo it is:

That is really quite lovely, indeed!

This is the interior of the M3 Touring I just took delivery of. Medium Jobbo I'd say, non?
