Every time.
Accident with angle grinder resulted in 2 severed tendons. Healed up and had constant pain ever since. Turns outs a nerve had become fused in scar tissue which has now been freed and something else which I can't remember as I had lots of drugs. The pain is now gone and I have more movement in my hand.Simon wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 5:35 pm Remind me of the original story on this one? The memory is hazy.
You should be more careful with your choices on Grindr.
Nice one, glad it's sorted.Zonda_ wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 5:45 pmAccident with angle grinder resulted in 2 severed tendons. Healed up and had constant pain ever since. Not really, I was wearing gloves that are designed to slow rotating blades, it was just a bit too powerful and cut through them.Simon wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 6:42 pmNice one, glad it's sorted.Zonda_ wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 5:45 pmAccident with angle grinder resulted in 2 severed tendons. A colleague a couple of years back was slicing a bagel he was holding in his hand inwards (towards the bit between the forefinger and thumb). You can guess the rest. Not pretty.
So, would PPE have helped with your grinder accident?
My assessment is I won't be using an angle grinder again!Rich B wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 7:27 pm Gloves are sometimes a bad idea with spinning tools - they can catch and end up ripping bits off instead. You make your own risk assessment though!

How long ago what, the original accident 3 years, this operation 3 weeks. Must be the picture making it look worse, its very neat, the stitches had only just been taken out when that one was taken.Ascender wrote: Fri Jul 19, 2019 1:28 pmHow long ago?Zonda_ wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 5:45 pmAccident with angle grinder resulted in 2 severed tendons. And did you stitch it up yourself, looks a right mess?
Let’s hope so!JLv3.0 wrote: Fri Jul 19, 2019 5:43 pm Is Broccers going to remind us how shit Gav is with an angle grinder and that we're soft cunts for showing sympathy? And that none of his power tools have safety guards, or something?![]()
